Downtown SLC

Today we went downtown with my sister and her son Michael. It is sad to say that we live in Utah and my son has maybe been to temple square once in his whole life. We first went to the U of U bookstore and then took trax to temple square. Will thought that was great. Will thoroughly enjoyed temple square and was so cute as we walked up to the statue of Jesus. He started yelling look mom it's Jesus. As a parent it makes you feel so good when you realize your child does actually listen when you talked to them about Jesus and Heavenly Father.

Catching Up!

So my older sister and her son Michael came out to visit us. They got here last Wednesday afternoon and we have really enjoyed them being here. Will loves Michael and does everything he does. It is really funny to watch Will. He wants to be big like Michael so bad. On Friday we went to find out what the sex of the baby is and much to my surprise it is a little GIRL! We are very excited. I think Byron is a little nervous because of me and my shopping issues and now with a little girl there are so many more fun things to buy. He told me he instantly needed a 20% increase in pay. On Saturday we just hung out and then went to the Stadium of Fire. Needless to say will loved it and hopefully we will be attending next year too. Of course my camera battery went dead after the first couple of pictures we took at dinner. That is so my luck, not to mention i forgot my cell phone. Anyway, we did get some photos of us doing some fireworks Sunday night. Well this pretty much sums up the last week almost.

After 2 1/2 hours of taking and looking at pictures my sister in laws and I finally picked some out for my mother in law for mothers day. The lady taking the pictures did a good job, but it just took for ever. Probably because there were three kids and we had to get newborn pictures of my nephew who is 5 weeks old. All in all it went well, just took forever. Here are a couple of my favorites of Will. He is such a goof ball.

Here a couple of pictures of my newest niece Carleigh (my sister Robin's little girl). I know i am a little bias, but i think she is seriously the cutest little baby girl ever. I just love these pictures, especial the hair bows that i made for her.

Will's 3rd B.Day Party!

I know i am a total slacker, but her are some pictures from Will's 3rd B-day. His birthday was Jan.31st so yes they are a couple of months late, but at least i have a new post up. His birthday party as you can tell was a Spiderman theme. He loves spiderman. He had a lot of fun and was glad Ooma was able to fly into town to help celebrate his birthday.

As you can see from the previous post, this christmas was a Man themed christmas for Will. He loves spiderman, iron man, batman, etc. This is one of my favorite pictures of him in his spiderman hat and gloves.

Christmas!

Will had a great Christmas. He was so excited Christmas morning to see what Santa brought him. His comment after seeing what all he got was, Santa must really like me! He is a funny little boy! We had a great Christmas and Hope everyone else did too.

I know many of you will be impressed that i actually i have been updating my blog more frequently. I can't believe it myself, but for some reason i have had more time lately. These are some pictures of Will last Sunday before we went to church. I thought he looked so cute in his outfit, not to mention he loves getting his picture made in front of the christmas tree. I am also posting some we took last night in his HOHO pj's.

First Big Snow Storm

WIll decided he wanted to go out and help his dad shovel and of course play in the snow. He stayed out there for a little while and then ask to come in. I don't think he likes being cold, a little goes a long way for him. I think we live in the wrong state. I did get a few pictures in his brief time out there.

Halloween

So i am terrible about updating my blog. It has been months since the last time as you can tell. Nothing new is going on here. Byron has been working on finishing our basement. He has finished the framing, heating and air and is currently working on the electrical, (it has been the most difficult for him), but i have faith he will figure it out. He is hoping to start sheetrocking by the first of next week. I can't wait to get it finished. I am excited. Here are some pictures of Will on halloween carving pumpkins and in his halloween costume. The Big Dirt Hill

We are finally finishing our backyard! We had some topsoil delivered this last week and needless to say Will has really enjoyed playing in it as you will be able to tell by the pictures. I am so excited for our backyard to get done. We should be laying sod in the next week or so, then we bought and a shed and they are scheduled to build it on July 31. Byron is working hard on getting the patio finished and then i am going to stain it to match the flagstones. I am so excited to see the end result. We are going to buy the trees and plant them, but all the other landscaping we are going to do in the spring. Just an update, not like anyone really cares, but i thought i would share anyway.
